This visa is for you if you want to move to New Zealand to join your adult New Zealand citizen or resident child. If you’re granted residence, you’ll be able to live, work and study in New Zealand indefinitely.
If you comply with the conditions of your visa, you may be eligible for permanent residence.
Criteria you must meet :
• You must submit an expression of interest and be invited to apply for residence.
• You must meet the requirements for one of the two tiers of our two – tiered system.
• You must be sponsored by a New Zealand citizen or resident who is your adult child.
How long can I stay on this visa : Indefinitely (if you meet the conditions of your visa).
With this visa you can :
• Live, work and study in New Zealand indefinitely.
• Include your partner in your residence application.
